Kids Worship
:: Kids Worship provides a wonderful environment for children ages preschool through 5th grade to grow together in Christ. Each week blends songs of praise, biblical teaching, and participatory prayer—all woven together to provide an experience that is both sacred and fun. Our goal as a church is to shepherd every child into an intimate knowledge and love of God.
:: Kids Worship features joyful songs, interactive Bible stories, participatory prayer, games, craft projects, and from time to time, a tasty snack. Kids Worship 1 focuses on introducing pre-readers (pre-school through first grade) to God's story and their place in it. Kids Worship 2 helps kids in grades 2-5 take their relationship with Christ to the next level.
:: Children attend the main Worship Gathering with their parents for the opening worship songs. After the Gospel reading they're invited to go with an adult leader out of the cafeteria to the Kids Worship room. Pastor Matt will say a prayer for them as they process out following the cross.
:: You are welcome to walk with your child to the Kids Worship room and stay for Kids Worship or return to the main worship space. Adult leaders will bring the children back to the main worship space to rejoin you just before Communion.
:: Because of our policy that two adults must always be present with the children, it is not possible for Kids Worship leaders to take children to the restroom. Please take children to the restroom prior to the start of Kids Worship or request a pager from the nursery before the start of Kids Worship so you can be paged to take your children to the restroom if needed.
:: Kids Worship is a great way to nurture your child’s spiritual health and growth. It will give them a positive, fun, age-appropriate experience of Christ-centered fellowship, and build a foundation for them enjoy and glorify God forever.
:: Children age 6 and older are invited to sign up to serve as crucifers—carrying the processional cross at the beginning of the Worship Gathering and leading the procession of the children to Kids Worship and back. Children younger than 6 may serve as crucifers if accompanied in the procession by their parent. If you would like to have your child serve as a crucifer, please contact .
