What is a Growth Group?
:: A Growth Group consists of 5 to 15 people who gather weekly to grow in their relationship with God and one another. Although each group is unique, every Growth Group shares these essentials:
- Meaningful friendship (loving and caring for one another)
- Scripture (mining the depths of God’s Word together and applying it to our lives)
- Transparency (sharing our struggles and encouraging one another in personal holiness)
- Prayer (worshipping God and taking our needs to Him)
:: Growth Groups provide the optimal environment for growing as a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ. No previous experience is necessary. Contact or visit a Growth Group this week!
What will I experience in a Growth Group?
:: Group time is spent developing relationships with one another, studying the Bible together (no previous knowledge required), and praying for one another. You'll experience honest conversations about things that really matter with people who genuinely care for you. You can be real about your struggles and your questions. You will learn more about who God is and how to live in a truly satisfying and enjoyable relationship with Him. Groups meet for 75 to 90 minutes once each week.
How do Growth Groups and the Worship Gathering fit together?
:: Growth Groups and the Worship Gathering are complimentary parts of a whole. The ebb and flow of weekly life occurring between small group fellowship and corporate worship is patterned after the first church in Jerusalem found in Acts 2:42-47. Following Christ with a small group of other believers is a vital aspect of your spiritual health, growth, and enjoyment.
